150 years of faith

Good Friday’s cold, rainy weather brought out umbrellas and helping hands on the slippery slopes of St. Donatus’s outdoor Way of the Cross. The weather limited the crowd to one of the smallest in recent years, but few complained as they walked up the hill past the 14 stations that re-trace the path of Jesus Christ. The small brick chapels have recently undergone repair, as have the original lithographs that hung in them.
